Initiatives and acknowledgements
  • Nominated for "Vanførefondens forskningspris 2003" by the Faculty of Science and Engineering, University of Southern Denmark, for inventing and developing a doppler radar based mobility device for the visually impaired.
  • Winner of the 2. prize (15.000 €) at "Øresund VentureCup 2001/2002" as member of the team behind Blindsight. We won due to our business plan for commerzialisation of our doppler radar based mobility device.
  • Co founder of the Company "Blindsight ApS", for development and commercialization of a doppler radar based mobility device for the visually impaired.
  • Organizer of the local conference "Farvel Fyn", where local company leaders and politicians discussed how to increase the local employment of highly educated people.
  • Co founder of the company "Meganic ApS", for development and commerzialisation of advanced mechatronic devices, such as the DT-VGT robot manipulator.
  • Organizer and project manager for project "James", where a group of engineering students build an autonomous robot vehicle that won the national contest "DTU Robocup" in 1997 and 1999.
